I'm reminded with the church groups staying with us right now at Rosebud, that it's a great location for your Sunday School class to plan a few nights away!!  Great time to get to know those you spend a couple hours with every week.  Give us a call for group rates.  We sell tickets to shows and to Silver Dollar City, where you can purchase a 2 Day Silver Dollar City pass for the price of a single day admission.  Call today!!

Happy Birthday Branson - 100 Years!!!

Branson just celebrated its Birthday of 100 years on April 1st, and we will continue to celebrate for the next few months.  It's exciting to see the changes that have come about, and it has been a blessing to be apart in the Hospitality arena!  You can check out the cool pictures and information at www.branson100.org.  On April 15th, there will be a Branson's Birthday Spectacular Concert with an entertainment lineup including: Jim Stafford, Yakov Smirnoff, Presley's, Baldknobbers, Foggy River Boys, Shoji Tabuchi, Lennon Sisters, and other top name are still being added.  It's advertised as a come-one, come-all Birthday Spectacular concert that can't be missed on Sunday, April 15, 2012.  The concert will be at the RFD-TV Theatre on West Highway 76, and will be featuring Carrie April Tillis as the mistress of ceremonies.  This "once-in-one hundred years" musical extravaganza assures that there will not be a moment of Branson's storied entertainment spectrum that will not be overlooked.  Tickets are on sell for this charitable concert at the RFD-TV Theatre and  the proceeds will go to the victims of Branson's recent tornado and the new Branson Centennial Museum.  http://rfdtvthetheatre.com/

We are Open for the 2012 Season!!!

Rosebud Inn opened March 1st for the 2012 season!!  We are so Excited and Ready to get the season kicked off.

What a beautiful day in the Ozarks!  Our weather is going to be great. Love to enjoy and feel the warmth of the sunshine. Spring is here!! We will be warming into the 60's this week, and forecasted to hit 70 on Tuesday.  Great weather for shopping and checking out our AWESOME shows.

As most of you are aware, we had a a tornado hit parts of the strip a few days ago (leap day).  Rosebud Inn sustained no damage.  We lost power, but it was restored the same day.  We feel very blessed and fortunate.

We want to get the word out that Branson is OPEN!  With just a few theaters doing repairs.  Remember that just because the theater is under repairs, does not mean you can not see the shows.  I know the shows that were at Americana have relocated to the RFD Theater until repairs are complete.  Just a little hiccup for some...  I've been encouraged to hear how positive the community has been!  As the old saying...The show must go on!  The chamber website has put a list together of places affected.  It will change probably day to day, as repairs are completed.  Check it out at www.explorebranson.com .  I have listed the following Theaters who were affected (website as of 3/2/12):

Shows

  • The Americana Theatre is closed pending repairs
  • The Baldknobbers Jamboree opening night is postponed to Thursday March 8 at 8pm.  Phones and box office will be open 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday
