The Ozarks in October

This awesome picture was taken out by the College of the Ozarks yesterday, close to Branson.  It's a beautiful time of year, here in the Ozarks!!  Branson is currently changing over to celebrate the Christmas Season.  Our theaters will be changing over to their Christmas shows, and then next week Silver Dollar City will change over to "Old Time Christmas".

You don't want to miss the last few days of the National Harvest Festival, which runs thru Saturday, October 29th, out at Silver Dollar City.  Silver Dollar City will be closed from October 30th - November 4th to decorate and put up all those beautiful lights for Old Time Christmas, which will run from November 5th - December 30th.  What an exciting time of year for Branson!!

Rumor USE to have it that Branson shut down this last week of October, but that is just not true anymore.  Theaters are still open this week, and there is plenty of shopping during the 6 days Silver Dollar City closes to decorate. Theaters will start their Christmas shows November 1st - Clay Cooper's, Jim Stafford, Presley's, Miracle of Christmas at Sight N Sound Theater, just to name a few....  Make your plans now to enjoy and celebrate this time of year. Branson is one of a kind when it comes to celebrating the "Reason for the Season", and keeping Christ in Christmas!!  See you soon...
